"I never could have predicted the journey Holy Spirit has invited me into. What started as a campus ministry job at my alma mater has turned into a blossoming garden across the nation. I attended a talk before starting work with Ut Fidem and was encouraged to not put limits on God. I remember praying, "God, let Ut Fidem not only bless our school, but our entire community, state, nation, and world." I felt somewhat silly at the time making such a big request, but it's been incredible to see how God already has multiplied the fruit which begun at a simple high school in Des Moines, IA."

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned during my time in college, it’s that the human heart must be broken open in order to receive God. It breaks my heart that I didn’t have a personal relationship with Jesus in high school and it breaks my heart even more that there are other 16-year-olds who are just like I was, wondering how to know Jesus, whom they have been hearing about their whole lives. This is why I am so humbled, honored, and ecstatic to be able to work as the female Ut Fidem coordinator at Dowling Catholic this school year!”

"I am a husband, a U.S. Army veteran, and a convert to the faith.  I was confirmed in the Church less than two years ago, but I feel like I have been gradually becoming Catholic my entire life.  After my confirmation I quickly began work in youth ministry.  I moved to Iowa from Alaska to marry my wife who is a Dowling Catholic alumni.  After much discernment and prayer we decided to settle in Des Moines.  Through God’s grace I now find myself in this position.  My fire burns brighter and brighter every day as I get to work with our youth.  Strengthening the faith lives of young men as they prepare to step out after graduation is important and necessary.  I pray often for God to use me as an instrument of His will, and I feel blessed beyond all measure that He has answered that prayer and led me to this position.  I look forward to building up young disciples through Ut Fidem!"

"I am a cradle Catholic who was born and raised in the Wonderful state of Wisconsin. I became a SPIRITUS Missionary where I met my future bride Alondra, and followed her to Tulsa to marry her. I am the Campus Minister at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa. I am excited to bring Ut Fidem to Bishop Kelley and help students have a real encounter with the person of Jesus Christ through small group discussion, prayer and the sacraments. "To know Jesus in the Eucharist and make Him known to others is the joy of my heart.  I grew up in central Wisconsin, and now reside in Eau Claire, WI, as Director of Discipleship at Regis High School and Middle School. Having been so greatly impacted by a mentor in my life during my time in high school and guided by the mercy of Holy Spirit and our Blessed Mother to become a missionary, I have now been inspired to coordinate Ut Fidem at our school.  My God-dream is for every single person who walks through our doors to know the sweetness abundance, and fullness of life with Jesus, walking in the Holy Spirit."
